“STAYING INDEPENDENT” PRESENTATION SLATED FOR 5/22 AT EASTWYCK VILLAGE
NORTH GREENBUSH, NY (Thursday, May 1, 2014) — Eastwyck Village, in collaboration with St. Peter’s Health Partners & ANOVA Medical Supply, will host a presentation called “Staying Independent” on Thursday, May 22 from 1-3 p.m. at the community’s Clubhouse, 1720 Best Road, North Greenbush.
Speakers will include Occupational Therapist Jennifer Higgins, Physical Therapist Ketaki Nagarkar and President at ANOVA Medical Supply Olga Krupinski. It is free and open to the public.
“In this comprehensive session, we’ll hear from Higgins on joint protection strategies for daily living and Nagarkar will address how posture can impact quality of life and demonstrate exercises that can be done in the comfort of your own home,” said Eastwyck Village Director of Community Relations Adam DeSantis. “Krupinski will discuss medical products, equipment and services she provides locally to aid in health and recovery.”
